Worn by the style icon James Dean in his third and sadly last film 'The Giant' - here is the mighty reproduction of the jacket from the movie! This ranch coat saw the light back in 2012. Only 30 pieces were made. Japanese brand Stevenson Overall Co. made these jackets and the cut and features differs a bit from the jacket worn by James Dean. The fit is a little less boxy and the collar got that nice and soft alpaca shearling instead of the original potentially more itchy wool. The sleeeves are also lined with silk cupro.
This jacket will surely keep you warm with its cozy collar and wool lining. The waxed front fabric and the ability to switch sides of the looped button closure will keep the cold out.
This second hand jacket has been worn and you can see that there is some loose threads on the leather details and that the wool lining has been worn out a bit. There is however still lots of life in this iconic jacket and that the wear is not very visible. The front fabric is 100 % cotton and waxed. Add some more wax to give it a new fresh look!
Check out our measurements and compare with other garments you own to see if the jacket is a good fit for you.
Hampus is 177 cm long and weighs 71 kg. He's wearing a vest underneath the jacket in these pictures.
