Here's a Vintage WW2 Army Mackinaw Jeep Coat Jacket. This vintage jacket is full of character and has been beautifully repair by our tailor Norma.
There is no label to be found but we date it to the WW2 years. The heavy Mackinaw was initially issued back in 1938. It was intended for cold weather and used by troops who didn't engage too much in combat but needed to stay warm, like jeep drivers. Collar and lining made of wool made sure to help the soldiers stay warm during the cold months in Europe. The collar is strengthened and there is an extra neck strap to help keep the cold out.
This jacket is second handand repaired by us at Second Sunrise. As it is a vintage garment, use it with care.
Hampus is 177 cm long and weighs about 71 kilos.
